Invited by Dr. Yongbin Chen of AMHD (Key Laboratory of Animal Models and Human Disease Mechanisms, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Dr. Yingzi Yang, senior investigator of National Institutes of Health (NIH), visited Kunming Institute of Zoology on July 6, 2012.
Dr. Yang gave an academic seminar entitled "Wnt Signaling in Development and Disease", demonstrating the function mechanism of Wnt Signaling Pathway controling development and human diseases. Specially, she made a detailed report of GaS signaling pathway in bone development and disease.
The seminar attracted professors: Yongtang Zheng, Ceshi Chen, Jumin Zhou, Ping Zheng, Bing Liang and Xudong Zhao, as well as students of KIZ. The audience, especially students joined in the enthusiastic discussion with Dr. Yang on the related topics.
